IHS Course Approval

Organizations that offer continuing education programs can become an IHS-approved continuing education provider. The International Hearing Society (IHS) accredits continuing education programs for practitioners in hearing healthcare. We assure that only programs which are in compliance with IHS standards are approved. IHS maintains continuing education records and produces continuing education certificates that are accepted in most jurisdictions mandating continuing education as a requirement for license renewal.

IHS works directly with education providers. All IHS-approved education providers must adhere to the IHS Course Application Requirements and Guidelines. Please review this document before registering or applying for course approval.

The International Hearing Society uses electronic continuing education certificates (e-certificates). IHS does not mail hard-copy certificates of attendance for continuing education. E-certificates are emailed in PDF format directly to course attendees.
