International Institute for Hearing Instrument Studies (IIHIS)

IHS’ education committee, the International Institute for Hearing Instrument Studies, is responsible for accrediting the Society's education programs, including distance learning, local chapter meetings, manufacturer sponsored programs and the IHS Annual Conference & Expo. It awards certificates of continuing education credit which are often required for maintenance of licensure and are also recognized by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS).
